Data privacy is not just a legal obligation for us. It is also an instrument to support a higher level of transparency in our daily handling of your personal data. The safe-keeping of your personal data (in short: data) is of utmost importance to us.

Contact Form
The details of data collected from our contact form, name, email address and telephone number (if applicable) as well as your message are used by us only for the purpose of responding to your request. Subsequently these details will be deleted. Merely in the context of compliance with regulations demanding the storage of emails for 10 years, your data will be made available to service providers contracted and of course carefully chosen by us. Such parties may be providers of technical support or those that serve our distribution needs.
Otherwise we reserve the right to disclose personal data to third parties if required to do so by law.


In order to register you for our email newsletter service, we require at least your email address to which the newsletter will be sent. Any additional details are voluntary and will be used to address you personally, to personalize content as well as to enable us to communicate with you.
We usually employ a double-opt procedure for our newsletter dispatch by email. This means we will start sending you our newsletters as soon as you have confirmed your registration through the designated link in a confirmation email sent to your inbox. This process guarantees that only you personally as owner of this email address can sign up for our newsletter. Your response to this confirmation must ensue within a narrow time frame. Otherwise your subscription request will be deleted from our system automatically.

Die authentische und nachhaltige Kommunikation von Botschaften und Werten ist unser Anliegen. Unter Best Practice werden Projekte gezeigt, bei denen dieses Anliegen sehr gut umgesetzt ist. Sei es über Ausstellungen, Bücher, fotografische Langzeitprojekte oder ausgewählte Veröffentlichungen. Die Best Practice Stories werden regelmäßig ergänzt.


In einem Clipboard können Sie Bilder eines Fotografen/einer Fotografin oder auch Bilder in einer bestimmten Bildsprache aus dem Bereich „Themen“ zusammenstellen. Bis zu fünf verschiedene Clipboards mit jeweils maximal 35 Bildern können Fotografen oder Themen bezogen erstellt werden. Der Download eines Clipboards oder eines Fotografenportfolios als PDF ist nur möglich, wenn Sie eingelogt sind (siehe auch Download).


Ohne LOG IN können Sie surfen, schauen, lesen, jedoch nichts downloaden. Möchten Sie ein Clipboard oder ein Fotografenportfolio herunter laden, setzt dies das LOG IN voraus.


laif core ist kein Bildarchiv, die gezeigten Fotos sind zur Ansicht und zur Inspiration bestimmt. Wenn es um die Lizenzierung von Fotos geht, sind Sie bei richtig.


Die Registrierung auf der Website und die darüber erhaltenen LOG IN-Daten geben Ihnen die Möglichkeit, Clipboards und Fotografenportfolios herunter zu laden.
